Amazon Prime Day 2021 is coming to a close, but we’re still seeing plenty of deals across Amazon’s device lineup — from Fire tablets to Echoes and Eero Wi-Fi systems.

Among the most notable deals is a discount on Amazon’s brand-new second-generation Echo Buds that brings them down to their lowest price yet. Other Amazon devices, like Fire TV Edition smart TVs and a couple Kindle bundles, are available with Prime Day deals as well.

Prime Day is traditionally one of the best times to find an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot on sale, and a few models are available for impressive discounts of up to half off. We’re seeing models like the Amazon Echo (4th Gen) model hit their lowest price ever at $60. We’re also seeing up to 50% off on a number of Fire Tablets during Prime Day including $70 off the Fire HD 10 (usual price as low as $120) and $45 off the Fire HD 8 (usual price as low as $90)

To shop Prime Day deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime member. Prime subscriptions cost $13 a month or $120 a year. The service offers tons of perks, including free two-day shipping on many items.

Best Prime Day Echo Buds deals

Amazon just released its second-generation Echo Buds in May, and the new wireless earbuds are already $40 off during Prime Day 2021. The Echo Buds with wired charging case are down to $80, while the Echo Buds with wireless charging case are available for $100.

The second-generation earbuds have a sleeker design and improved noise cancellation compared to the older model. Senior Tech Correspondent Lisa Eadicicco was impressed by the improvements Amazon made, and said the Echo Buds are “a great choice for anyone in search of affordable wireless earbuds that don’t compromise on features like noise cancellation and customization.” You can find our Amazon Echo Buds 2 review here.

Top Prime Day Echo smart speaker deals

Echo devices are some of the most popular smart speakers on the market, and they’re often available for some of their lowest prices during Prime Day. Right now, we’re seeing up to 50% off on Echo devices including the fourth-generation Echo Dot.

Aside from a $40 discount on the fourth-generation Echo, you can save half off on fourth- and third-generation Echo Dots.

The fourth-generation Echo Dot offers new spherical design and slightly improved sound quality. That said, if the third-generation Echo Dot dips down to a sale price that’s significantly less than the fourth-gen model, we think it offers a better value. You can read more on the models in our roundup of the best Amazon Echo smart speakers and smart displays of 2021.

Best Prime Day smart home deals

Of course, Amazon is running a number of deals on some smart home devices that might be worth hopping onto right now, particularly the $95 Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen). It’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the device that lets you make video calls and use Alexa to schedule events. Other Echo Show devices are seeing discounts, too, like $60 off the Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen) and $35 off the Echo Show 5 (1st Gen). Finally, on a related note, Amazon’s Echo Frames are available for up to 30% off, which bring Alexa to you wherever you are. These work with prescription lenses as well, if you’re considering them for a gift for a glasses wearer.

Top Prime Day Fire TV Edition smart TV deals

Amazon’s Fire TV operating system comes built right into a number of smart TVs from Toshiba and Insignia. This enables simple streaming access with the same interface you’d see on a separate Fire TV Stick or Cube

Both brands sell

4K
, 1080p, and 720p Fire TV displays in a range of screen sizes, and many of these models are on sale during Prime Day. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that all of these displays are considered entry-level TVs. They’ll get the job done for casual viewing, but for better picture quality and speedier smart TV performance, we recommend stepping up to a mid-range model from brands like TCL, Vizio, Samsung, or LG.

Now, you can get up to $110 off Toshiba and Insignia brands during Prime Day with TVs ranging between 720p and 4K resolution.

Though we don’t typically recommend TVs with 720p screens, the benefits of higher resolutions are hard to see on screen sizes under 43 inches. If you’re looking for a smaller TV in the 32- or 24-inch range for a bedroom or other secondary location, an inexpensive Fire HDTV could offer solid value, especially when they’re discounted. If you’re going bigger than 32-inches, however, it’s worth paying more for a 4K model.

Best Prime Day Kindle deals

Amazon’s Kindle devices are some of our favorite e-readers, and we’re seeing deals across the entire lineup when Prime Day begins.

This includes Kindle devices with discounts of 30% or more, including $65 off the Kindle Oasis (normally $250), $50 off the Kindle Paperwhite (normally $130), $30 off the basic Kindle (normally $90), and $45 off the Kindle Kids edition (normally $110).

The Kindle Kids Edition includes a 10th gen Kindle, a year of Amazon Kids+, and a kid-friendly cover of your choosing.

Top Prime Day Fire TV Stick deals

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick connects to your existing TV, allowing you to add streaming access to tons of apps using the Fire TV platform. The traditional Fire TV Stick is now $17 off during Prime Day.

Fire TV Sticks are also available in a few different models, but the best of the bunch is the Fire TV Stick 4K. You can snag a Fire TV Stick 4K right now for $25 off its regular price, the lowest discount we’ve ever seen. Like its name implies, the 4K model includes 4K streaming capabilities and it even supports advanced high dynamic formats like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Best Prime Day Fire Tablet deals

Fire Tablets are among our top choices for the best Android tablets, including the Amazon Fire HD 8.

Now, you can save up to 50% off Fire Tablets during Prime Day such as $70 off the Fire HD 10 (usual price as low as $120) and $45 off the Fire HD 8 (usual price as low as $90). While the tablets differ in size, the same discounts apply on each device no matter if you choose a 32GB model or a 64GB model. There’s also deals on the more powerful Fire HD 10 Plus for $70 off (usual price as low as $180) and the more powerful Fire HD 8 Plus (usual price as low as $130).

The most significantly discount among Fire Tablets is the Fire HD 10 with keyboard and 12-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. The bundle is now $150 during Prime Day, or nearly $120 off its retail price.

Amazon is offering parents (or incredibly loving and doting friends of parents) $80 off on Fire HD 10 Kids tablets and $70 off Fire HD 8 Kids Tablets, as well, during Prime Day.
